Help us Build Student Success...

Our Capital Development Campaign is Building Student Success
Successful students build successful communities and Allan Hancock College has been enriching the Central Coast for more than 80 years by preparing students for productive roles in their community.

Allan Hancock College has embarked on a campus improvement project that will dramatically enhance the learning experience for its students and the work environment for faculty and staff. Facilities designed to serve 2,000 students in 1960 today are stretched to the breaking point with over 10,000 credit and 7,000 noncredit students currently enrolled. The planned improvements are crucially needed to attract, serve, and retain students, faculty and staff.

State and local taxes and student fee revenues are used wisely, but they can’t be stretched far enough to cover capital projects that simply must be undertaken. The college has successfully appealed to the state for public funding for a variety of major construction projects. However, necessary renovations go beyond the available state funding and are needed immediately to contribute to student success and to enhance student life on campus.

Furnishings, equipment, and remodeling are urgently needed in four key areas:
  1. Skills Center
  2. Student Services Center
  3. Modular Buildings Conversion
  4. Student Center
