Scholarship Information
for Students

Allan Hancock College Foundation awarded in excess of $250,000 in scholarships in May 2005 to Allan Hancock College vocational students, students continuing their education here at Allan Hancock College, and students transferring to four-year institutions from Allan Hancock College.

The Allan Hancock College Foundation Scholarship funds are only available to students currently attending Allan Hancock College.

Scholarships are available in all areas of study. Some of the scholarships are in specific donor-oriented categories such as vocational programs, local high-school graduates, veterans (or their children), re-entry students, disabled students, or specific majors.

You may qualify for an Allan Hancock College Foundation scholarship if:

1. You have a 3.00 or higher cumulative grade point average.

2. You must be enrolled in and successfully complete 9 or more units in the fall 2005 semester at Allan Hancock College, and must enroll in and successfully complete 9 or more units at Allan Hancock College during the spring 2006 semester.

3. You are planning to continue at Allan Hancock College in the fall 2006, or you are planning to transfer to a four-year college or university in the fall 2006.

Applications will be available online October 1.
